Now, I'll be the first to admit I've never seen Armie Hammer on film, and if I've seen him, I don't remember. With that said, the resemblance to a young Bruce Wayne is clearly there. He has that slick rich douchebag look to him and he also has a kindness in his look that would work perfectly to portray the Dark Knight Detective. He also has the built to play Batman and most importantly, he's the fan favorite to play the part.
I would be happy seeing him portray Batman in the Justice League movie, especially since it
s the first meeting between these iconic characters. I think the people in charge of casting can't go wrong with signing him not only for the Justice League movie, but sign a multi film deal to have him portraying the character in the new Batman movies.
I don't think i have to explain why I feel Henry Cavill should be the one who plays Superman in the Justice League movie but if you think I do, here it goes. The guy is portraying the character in the upcoming Man of Steel movie and he looks EXACTLY like Superman, down to his boyscout look, his physique, I don't think there's anybody else out there who could come close to being Superman better then Cavill.
From the moment I saw Jaimie Alexander play Lady Sif in the Thor movie I immediately thought of three things: 1. This woman is Gorgeous! 2. This woman is a badass! and 3. This woman should play either Lady Sif in her own spin off movie or Wonder Woman. Why? Because she kicks all sorts of tail in the movie! She's a real female role model that embodies all the feminine qualities we as men want in a woman and all the qualities women want to see in female role models; just like Wonder Woman. Jaimie was recently aproached about playing the part of WW and she said that the character needed to be written more in the vein of Lady Sif, as in a female warrior who's not in the movie for the sole purpose of having sexual tension or being only eye candy. She wants to portray female characters who are beautiful, but also have relevance in the story. Good for Jaimie!!!
I may be in the minority here but I really enjoyed Ryan Reynolds' performance as Hal Jordan in the Green Lantern movie. Even if the movie wasn't what we all expected, he did a good job, and I for one wouldn't mind seeing him portray the character once more. he already knows what they're going for, he has a movie under his belt and on this film, he won't be alone to carry the movie which will take some of the pressure off him. Another plus will be that WB and DC Comics are going all out on this film so, they're going to do an epic story and we'll see some crazy special effects as well as "real" villains, rather than a cloud of smoke; which was one of the reasons the Green Lantern film failed in my opinion. I say let Ryan Reynolds play the part again and this time around, I know we'll all be pleased with the results!
I think Bradley Cooper would be the perfect choice to play Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash. As we all know Barry Allen is known to be a serious character most of the time but once he puts on The Flash outfit, he's been known to be a bit on the lighter side. Imagine Bradley Cooper and Ryan Reynolds bringing in the funny aspects of the Justice League and bouncing off the seriousness of Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman; it'd be great! Of course we've seen Bradley Cooper play very serious roles so we know he can pull of the serious side of Barry Allen and we've seen his subtle comedic side in The Hangover so this is a match made in heaven in my opinion.
And last but not least...
We've seen Alan portray the role of Arthur Curry before in the Smallville TV series so we know what we're dealing with. This guy IS Arthur Curry! His looks, his body structure and posture, he was born to play Aquaman in my opinion. He has the "traditional hero look" and he also has an edge to him that exemplifies what Aquaman is all about, a hero who is not to be messed with! I think this guy deserves his chance in the spotlight and I feel that the Justice League movie is just the place for him to be in. So... make this happen DC Comics!
