Fred Peterson: The Mighty Warlord- 2021 Goals

Another year has come and gone, welcome to 2021! I just wanted to take a moment to go ahead and talk some Warlord, since I really haven't in a while. Just a small blog for my goals for the year with the Warlord webcomic.
For the last few years Warlord has updated barely 1 chapter a year due to many outside circumstances and health issues. Especially chapters 20-22, between recovering from a car accident to making a move to NYC, to losing my original files, it has been a tumultuous few years.
But I have always made many personal goals with Warlord, and for the last years, I've been losing sight of these goals by just settling to get pages out. And don't get me wrong, chapters 22-26 have been perhaps the best arc of the series, but visually and uploading wise, it could be WAY more consistent. That's where the goals come in.
I have laid out the plans for 2021, my goals are to achieve, or at least get as close as possible, to doing 5 chapters with a 6th chapter started by the end of the year. If I'm able to accomplish that, I will have done 3 of my 4 personal milestones I had for this webcomic.

The first milestone was reaching chapter 25. It's a comics tradition to celebrate the 25th issue, and 2 years ago I finally was able to crawl into what many consider the best chapter yet in Warlord, it was certainly the most intense so far.
My second milestone, which is the first goal I really want to reach, is chapter 29. 29 is the number of issues The Ray had in the 90s. The comic book series from DC Comics that inspired me to make a Warlord comic book series.
I want to be able to make it to 29 as a very personal nod to the series that changed my life. When I'm able to make it to that milestone, within this same year, I want to make it to chapter 30 as well as a personal goal.
I want to be able to tell myself that despite all the hardships and roadblocks, I made it. And hopefully, you'll be there for that ride as well, and I hope you have as fun fun reading as much as I've had fun creating this.
January 4th continues chapter 27 on through February. Of course, there will be special surprises along the way and more announcements, including the Truthful Comics Edition of Warlord. As always, thank you all for reading, happy new year,  stay safe!
