Respect Indie!

   So lately I've been called the "Godfather of indie comics" and although I don't think I am (not by a longshot!), I'm extremely humbled that someone looks at me like that; so I'm doing my best to represent indie comics to the best of my abilities, especially during #ThanksIndie Month. That compliment comes with the responsibility of building a community in which we can help each other, compete but also respect each other. We can share each other's work and support each other as well. It is with that sentiment that I decided to do a series of homage sketches of those indie creators' characters I feel deserve the recognition. With that said I'd like to begin with Scorp Jimenez's Classic Alafta! I'd like to show my respect for the character, the creator and I look forward to catching up on all her adventures.
